Spalted Maple Bowl
This small, heavy-bottomed, Spalted Maple bowl would be a lovely addition to any home or work desk and can be used as a candy dish or item holder. The black lines and greying on the one side is caused by a mold and is known as Spalting which is completely safe when finished. The center of the bowl also features quarter sawing which brings out a natural grain shimmer when in the light.
